Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 August 2026
Calmunity ("we", "us") is operated by Aurisvibe Private Limited. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use web.calmunitymentalhealth.com and the Calmunity mobile app.
Information we collect
- Account details — phone number (for sign-in), optional name, email, and profile photo.
- Listener application details — bio, languages, verification documents, and application photos or voice notes submitted on our website.
- Listener payout details — UPI ID and/or bank account information provided by approved Listeners so we can process earnings payouts. This is collected only from Listeners, not from Callers.
- Call metadata — duration, status, timestamps, and participant identifiers. We do not record call audio.
- Wallet and transaction data — internal balance and transaction history for accounts where billing or earnings apply. The current app release offers Free Support to Callers and does not charge for calls.
- Device push tokens — to deliver incoming-call and related alerts on your device.
- Crash and diagnostic reports — to improve app reliability.
- Safety reports — when you report another user, we store the report reason, optional call reference, and account identifiers needed for moderation.
We do not collect precise location from the mobile app for this service.
Mobile app service providers (SDKs)
The Calmunity mobile app uses the following third-party services:
- Firebase — Google Phone Authentication (OTP sign-in).
- Zego — live voice / audio calling between Callers and Listeners.
- Sentry — crash reporting and diagnostics.
- Device push notification services — incoming-call and related alerts.
The current Free Support app release does not use Google Play Billing. If paid calling returns in a future update, in-app purchases will use Google Play Billing where required by Google Play policy, and this policy will be updated before that change.
We do not sell your personal information. These providers process data only as needed to provide their services under their own privacy terms.
How we use your information
To operate and improve Calmunity, authenticate you, connect peer-support calls, verify Listener applications, process Listener payouts, review safety reports, send incoming-call notifications, provide customer support, and comply with legal obligations.
Listener payouts
Approved Listeners may register a UPI ID or bank account to receive earnings. Payouts are processed by the Calmunity team on a scheduled basis — not as instant in-app withdrawals. Payout details are masked in most app views and verified before use. We do not use Listener bank details to charge Callers or to process Caller payments inside the app.
Conversations
Conversations between Callers and Listeners are treated as confidential and are not recorded. They are not shared with third parties, except where required by law or to protect user safety.
Blocking and safety
If you block another user, we store that relationship so calls cannot be started between you. Block and report actions may be reviewed for safety and policy enforcement.
Data retention
- Account data — retained while your account is active. After deletion, personal identifiers are anonymised within 30 days, except where law or safety requires limited retention.
- Call logs — metadata retained up to 12 months for quality and dispute resolution. Voice is not recorded.
- Listener payout details — retained while the Listener account is active and as needed for accounting and legal compliance.
- Device push tokens — removed on logout or account deletion.
- Support communications — retained up to 2 years.
